Blue Ribbon Supply announces New Green Designation

Blue Ribbon Supply's green leaf eco-friendly designation is being introduced to help customers make informed decisions on products that have improved environmental performance - especially when these types of products are compared to their conventional counterparts. Such products can now be easily identified by a new green leaf icon on product pages in the company's catalogs and website. By mid-December, more than 200 Blue Ribbon Supply products will be labeled as eco-friendly, with additional offerings scheduled for the New Year. Products that are part of Blue Ribbon Supply's eco-friendly designation program are designed to conserve resources and are often manufactured with a high percentage of recycled, rapidly renewable and/or organic contents. Identifying such products can help foster a customer's transition toward sustainability, likely assist customers seeking USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council) LEED®-EB certification and potentially enhance human health in general.
