Product Description:
We have searched the world for manufacturers capable of making "environmentally preferable" plastic waste can liners strong enough to prevent a health mishap (e.g. breaking or leaking during commercial handling and/or transport). In our search, we found the plastic we use to manufacture DURASTUFF® GREEN™ Green plastic trash bin liners. DURASTUFF® GREEN™ trash bags are seen as a practical and necessary eco-friendly solution to the problem of plastic waste around the world. DURASTUFF® GREEN™ trash bags are produced using no less than 10% recycled content to meet EPA's Recovered Material Advisory Notice (RMAN) and are manufactured using "environmentally-safer" plastics containing Renature with OXO-technology. Although NOT accepted as "recyclable", "biodegradable" or "degradable" by California standards, Renature plastic meets both ASTM Standards D6954-05 (2004) and standards for ASTM 5338 testing. While we encourage you to use as few waste can liners as possible by reusing them and recycling them (where modern recycling facilities can accommodate them for reprocessing). DURASTUFF® GREEN™ Bags have a shelf life of 2-years, but will completely break down in an environmentally friendly environment within 2 years leaving no residue or harmful toxins. This OXO-technology enhanced product potentially helps qualify and contribute to earning credits in the U.S. Green Building Council LEED Rating System. GREEN COLOR.
