Product Description:
COMPOSTABLE UTENSIL SET is an individually wrapped utensil set consisting of a disposable single-use paper napkin and a disposable single-use fork, soupspoon and knife made from TPLA 70%, non-GMO PLA and 30% talc. The disposable single-use fork, soupspoon and knife are also heat resistant up to 200F degrees, have BPI Certification and are certified under ASTM-6400 standards. This means that the utensils in our COMPOSTABLE UTENSIL SET are both compostable and biodegradable, and as such will take 120+ days to compost in a commercial composting facility. Home composting of such utensils is not recommended, however. Most disposable single-use utensils currently on the market are made from plant starch which are NOT compostable because existing technology available does not allow for manufacturing plant starch utensils without adding some plastic fillers. Since these plant starch utensils do not meet compostability standards and are therefore not eco-friendly, they are normally priced less expensive than these more eco-friendly utensils. Individually wrapped COMPOSTABLE UTENSIL SET is packed 200 sealed packets each filled with a self-contained single person meal kit consisting of a disposable single-use paper napkin and a disposable single-use compostable and biodegradable fork, soupspoon and knife.
